JANA Laboratory is a family owned business that was created in 2000. It was started by Dr. Nahed Mouhajjer in the back of a pharmacy in Northern Lebanon. Having graduated as a pharmacist from “Università degli Studi di Ferrara” in Italy, Dr. Nahed then proceeded to obtain her degree in “Science et Technologie Cosmétique”. Alongside with her husband, Dr. Jamal Mouazen who is also a pharmacist, and thanks to his passion in machinery, the company was created. Even though it started small, the business has been improving exponentially. Today, their daughter and son, who are also pharmacists, joined the team; aiming to boost the company into its higher levels. With experience in production, formulation and packaging, JANA Laboratory is aiming to become one of the top 3 cosmetic manufacturers in Lebanon and one of the top 20 cosmetic manufacturers in the Middle East by 2025.
